ERSTVERMIETUNG – HOMEBASE PRATTELN

Homebase Pratteln is a modular housing and working project in the new Zentrale Pratteln district.

The cooperative Homebase is realising a climate-friendly building with 104 modules. The project is scheduled to be ready for occupancy from early 2027.

The project offers a concept for people seeking flexible living and working arrangements. The modules have a floor area of 40 m² to 80 m² and can be combined flexibly, creating individual spatial solutions from compact studios to larger living and working areas.

The building concept is described as climate-friendly and sustainable, with an innovative energy concept without conventional heating or cooling. Temperature regulation is based on solar heat and waste heat. High-quality insulation and automatic ventilation flaps are intended to support a self-regulating indoor climate.

The surrounding Zentrale Pratteln district is planned as a mixed-use area with housing, commercial space, and culture. Around 480 new apartments are being realised by six non-profit developers, with varied meeting places for exchange and community.
