Die Baugenossenschaft Luegisland Zürich (BGL) ist eine gemeinnützige, politisch und konfessionell unabhängige Wohnbaugenossenschaft, die ihren Mitgliedern preisgünstigen und freitragenden Wohnraum verschaffen und diesen dauerhaft der Spekulation entziehen möchte. Die Genossenschaft ist nicht gewinnorientiert und setzt sich für eine vielfältige Gemeinschaft ein, die auf Vertrauen, Transparenz und Solidarität basiert. Sie fördert den gemeinnützigen Wohnungsbau und trägt zur positiven Entwicklung der Stadt Zürich bei.

Membership Requirements
- Erwerb von mindestens einem Genossenschaftsanteil mit einem Nennwert von Fr. 100
- Mietende von Räumlichkeiten der Genossenschaft müssen zusätzlich zum Mitgliedschaftsanteil weitere Anteile (Wohnungsanteile) übernehmen. Der zu übernehmende Betrag berechnet sich nach der Anzahl der Zimmer. Pro ganzes Zimmer ist ein Anteilschein in der Höhe von mindestens Fr. 1‘000. – zu übernehmen. Der Maximalbetrag beträgt 20% der Anlagekosten der gemieteten Räumlichkeiten.
- Die Aufnahme erfolgt aufgrund einer schriftlichen Beitrittserklärung und eines Beschlusses des Vorstandes.
- Die Aufnahme natürlicher Personen erfolgt nur, wenn gleichzeitig ein Wohnobjekt abgegeben werden kann.
