Die Wohnbaugenossenschaft Meisenweg wurde 1931 mit der Gründerkolonie am Meisenweg in Burgdorf gegründet. Heute verwaltet sie ca. 200 Mietobjekte in verschiedenen Quartieren der Stadt Burgdorf. Die Genossenschaft setzt sich für sinnvolles und weitsichtiges Bauen mit Zukunft ein und bietet bezahlbaren Wohnraum an. Im genossenschaftlichen Gedanken der Selbsthilfe übernehmen die Mieter die Reinigung der Treppenhäuser selbst. Die Genossenschaft renoviert ihre teils älteren Wohnungen, um moderne Wohnräume zu schaffen, ohne dass sie ihren Charme verlieren. Die Tätigkeit der Genossenschaft ist nicht gewinnstrebig.
