The Eisenbahner-Baugenossenschaft beider Basel (EBG) is a cooperative seeking open and communicative residents who value tolerant coexistence and an intergenerational community. Residents are encouraged to contribute actively to cooperative life.

Location

The development at Genossenschaftsstrasse 1–13 is centrally located in Muttenz, near the FHNW campus and Polyfeld Muttenz. Muttenz railway station, a bus stop and shops are within walking distance.

The apartment

A 4-room apartment with approximately 102 m² of living space is available from mid-February 2027 or by arrangement. It is on the third floor, and the building has no lift.

Rental conditions

Before moving in, a deposit equal to three months’ rent must be paid into a rental deposit account. It is converted into cooperative capital at a later date. Rental deposit insurance and comparable arrangements are not accepted.

Pets

Dogs are not permitted in the cooperative’s developments. Cats kept indoors are allowed; permission is required to install a cat net.
