In the Hunziker Areal in the development area of Zürich Leutschenbach, a new cooperative neighbourhood was created in 2014/2015. Since mid-2015, around 1,300 people have lived and worked there. The area offers diverse and modern infrastructure and is oriented towards the goals of the 2000-watt society.

This 5.5-room apartment in Zürich 8050 offers 126 m² of living space and is available from 01.09.2026. The monthly rent is CHF 1,827.

The apartment features:

• Living room and bedrooms with oak parquet
• Ceiling made of glazed exposed concrete
• Kitchen with induction hob, oven, large refrigerator, and dishwasher
• Bicycle parking spaces in the basement of the building and additional spaces outside on the property
• Shared laundry room and drying rooms for all residents in the building

The apartment is subsidized. Only applications that meet the requirements for such housing can be considered. The income and asset limit for subsidized apartments is CHF 200,000 and must be observed according to the requirements of state-supported housing promotion in the canton of Zurich. A minimum occupancy of four persons applies. The project is car-light, and only registrations without a car are considered. Instead of a rental deposit, cooperative shares with a value of CHF 250 per square metre of living space are required and must be paid before the start of the tenancy.
