Die Genossenschaft Le Bled hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ihren Mitgliedern dauerhaften Wohnraum ohne Gewinnabsicht zu bieten. Sie strebt erschwinglichen Wohnraum für alle Bevölkerungsschichten an, insbesondere für Familien, Menschen mit Behinderungen und ältere Menschen. Die Genossenschaft fördert Solidarität, soziale und funktionale Vielfalt, Nähe und Geselligkeit. Sie ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation und verfolgt keine kommerziellen Ziele. Die Genossenschaft wurde am 14. Januar 2015 gegründet.
