Die Freie Baugenossenschaft Triengen (FBT) wurde 1982 mit dem Ziel gegründet, preisgünstige Wohnungen zu beschaffen und zu bauen, ohne spekulative Absichten zu verfolgen. Sie fördert den preisgünstigen Wohnungsbau und ist Mitglied von WOHNEN SCHWEIZ und der EGW. Die FBT legt die Mietkautionen ihrer Mieter als Genossenschaftsanteile an, was den Mietern Vorteile wie eine vorteilhafte Verzinsung und Stimmrecht an der Generalversammlung bietet. Die Genossenschaft ist bestrebt, ein angenehmes Wohnumfeld zu schaffen und die Liegenschaften kontinuierlich zu unterhalten.
