The DOMINO project in Riehen (4125) converts the former nursing home Dominikushaus into a sustainable residential development. The conversion is led by WOHNSTADT Bau- und Verwaltungsgenossenschaft together with the winners of the competition, Salathé Architekten.
The project emphasises upcycling in architecture and a circular-economy approach: a re-use concept for building structure and numerous components is a central element of the development and contributes to climate and resource protection.
