The 4.5-room apartment in Arbon (9320) offers 96 m² of living space and is part of the development by Genossenschaft Ziegelhütte Arbon. The first construction phase of the settlement on Romanshornerstrasse comprises 45 apartments and is ready for occupancy from September 2026.

Apartment

The apartment includes a spacious dining and living area, a bathroom with a floor-level (walk-in) shower and a separate storage room (Reduit). Private outdoor spaces are provided on the Lauben with balcony cupboards and in some units small balconies. All apartments have oak parquet floors, exposed concrete ceilings (white-lacquered), windows made of solid painted spruce and walls finished with white variovlies wallpaper. The fitted kitchens have ceramic worktops and are equipped with a dishwasher and an oven. Apartments are accessible via an open stairwell or by lift.

Building and sustainability

The entire settlement is built to Minergie-P standard. The multi-family houses are constructed in a hybrid method (concrete slabs with exterior walls in timber element construction); the row houses are pure timber constructions. Heat is generated via geothermal probes and photovoltaic elements on the roofs produce electricity for self-consumption.

Communal offers

• The central settlement courtyard provides garden beds and common outdoor areas for shared use.
• Each building has a shared laundry room in the basement.
• The former care home contains various communal rooms as well as rentable guest rooms, attics and commercial spaces.

Parking

Rentable parking spaces are available in the underground garage. Equipment with charging stations for electric cars is possible. Parking rent: CHF 120/month. Motorcycle: CHF 50/month. Bicycles, e-bikes or cargo bikes can be stored outdoors or in the garage.

• Tenants are required to subscribe mandatory cooperative shares (Pflichtanteilscheine) and thereby become members of the cooperative; payment of the shares can also be made from pension fund assets or Pillar 3a where permitted by the statutes.
